Professional Background

Lu brings over 40 years experience as a leader, consultant, seminar presenter, professional speaker and college instructor to the teaching of Tai Chi/QiGong. She has served in a variety of executive and voluntary leadership positions at the local, state, and national levels, including most recently as Director of the Riverside County Office on Aging.

Lu reached thousands of leaders nationwide and in Canada through keynote presentations, seminars, and college courses on the planning and management of change. As Founder and President of the Webster Institute in 1977, she provided executive and board consultation and guidance in visioning and harnessing change to 100 plus organizational leadership teams.

Lu served as a faculty associate at the College of St Thomas and Mankato State University in Minnesota, and at California State University San Bernadino and College of the Desert in California. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from the College of St Benedict in MN, and a Masters Degree in organizational development and system change from the University of Minnesota. She also holds a California life-time teaching credential in public administration.
